Digital Communications & Data storytelling with Reddit
“The front page of the Internet” has more than 330M+ monthly active users and is the 5th most trafficked site in the U.S. Home to endless conversation and thousands of communities online, Reddit creates and catalyzes culture — a single comment can spark a global movement.
I use data to craft compelling, community-focused stories that help contextualize Reddit for consumers and business. I also oversee all digital communications and social channels on behalf of the Reddit brand.
Pinterest Insights & The Pinterest 100
Every month, more than 250+ million people use Pinterest to explore and experience 175+ billion ideas that help them to discover and do what they love.
At Pinterest, I designed and developed the Pinterest Insights—or Pinsights—program from scratch, building the framework to fuel consumer & business editorial calendars, anchoring the brand with controlled messaging and proactive storytelling, optimized for distribution. I owned content & editorial strategy from end-to-end, including Pinterest's largest storytelling franchise, the Pinterest 100. The program continues to be a global-press driver that generates more than 2 billion impressions via 1,500 stories, annually.
Pinterest Social Media Management
As Pinterest’s first social media manager, I developed channel-specific strategies with a focus on amplifying brand narratives, company news & announcement, global product launches and strategic initiatives.
Key accomplishments include leading a cross-functional social media team that generated more than 40+ million organic impressions per month via owned channels, the global launch of Pinterest’s official Instagram and hashtag, #MyPinterest. In just 6 months the channel grew to more than 500K+ followers and generated more than 25K+ pieces of high-quality, user-generated content (UGC) for the brand to repurpose for across marketing channels and initiatives.
